Avra Margariti is a queer Social Work undergrad from Greece. She enjoys storytelling in all its forms and writes about diverse identities and experiences. The sweating tar runs between the pavement cracks,
birds dropping dizzy from the sky
to kiss the gutters.
At night we douse ourselves in gasoline
and run through the streets
looking for a match.
